Member Support Group and Education meetings

Our member meetings are always 7PM-9PM on the 3rd Thursday of each month at First United Methodist Church in Bellevue. Members, friends, and newcomers are welcome to attend and join our circle of confidential support during the first hour and educational speakers during the second hour. Pre-registration is not necessary to attend and you are welcome to email us to ask questions prior to your visit.

Our meetings are hybrid online/in-person in downtown Bellevue at Bellevue First United Methodist Church and online via Zoom. We have a good large-screen TV, camera, and microphone setup that allows for all participants to see, hear, and be heard. PFLAG Bellevue/Eastside has a decades-long relationship with FUMC Bellevue, who are LGBTQ+ affirming, inclusive, and committed to diversity and social justice.

Attending In-Person

Bellevue First United Methodist Church has two driveways. Go all the way up the “Entrance” driveway to the main entrance and enter through the main stained glass doors to the right. We meet in a large room with ample room for spacing and masks are optional.

Our 8PM break welcomes donated refreshments. Prepackaged single-servings, “low touch” (eg a tray of cupcakes), and “no dishes” items are all fine.

Attending Online Via Zoom

Please read the following guidelines. You must agree to and abide by these guidelines to attend support meetings online. Please mark your agreement in the checkbox below to view the Zoom meeting information.

1. Meetings are a safe space. I agree to practice confidentiality and respect for others.
2. I agree to not record the meeting in any manner.
3. I agree to keep discussions on topics of interest to the LGBTQ+ community, families, and friends.
4. I agree to mute my microphone when not speaking to keep background noise to a minimum.
5. I am 18 years of age or older.

Informal Coffee Meetup

Our informal coffeeshop meetups are at 12PM-2PM on the 1st Wedneday of each month. at Soulfood Coffeehouse in Redmond. Anyone is welcome to drop in for informal conversations with chapter board members and friends.
